Yedida Gavish

Hello and welcome to my magical world!

My name is Yedida, and I am an artist and painter.

My journey in the art world began in childhood when I began to dance classuc balett, where I discovered that my body and consciousness are  allowing me to create movement  from everything around me.

As a dancer, I realized how remarkable the human body is as an expressive tool — not only does it convey emotions; it can not lie, send messages, and often serve as a mirror reflecting our internal world.

over the years I change my passion in art to sculpture .Sculpture is a vital part of my creativity because it allows me to touch upon the form of the body in relation to the human spirit. I believe that within the body lies all the answers — it can be strong and delicate, open and closed — providing us with not only a means of expression but also a wealth of feelings and emotions.

Eventually, I fell in love with painting. I found that colors are my words. Each line and color I lay on the canvas is like a song without words, speaking of joy, sadness, love, and deep feelings. When I paint, I imagine how the feeling of  i felt the need to explor more areias of art and i I've found them . on the canvas i feel like writind song without words, speaking of joy, sadness, love, and deep feelings. When I paint, I imagine how the feeling of color can touch the hearts of others and create meaningful connections.

Exhibitions and Recognition

Throughout my career, I've participated in several group exhibitions, showcasing my sculpture work both in Israel and abroad. One of my sculptures, made of bronze and towering at three meters tall, stands in Givat Ze'ev near Jerusalem. I often think that my sculptures, much like a body in motion, manages to tell a story of faith and meaning.

My Philosophy

Regarding the human body — it is a term for the most complex language. It has the ability to convey powerful messages, even when we don't speak. I see it as not just a physical object, but a mirror reflecting our internal lives. Our ability to lie — even to our bodies — is a fascinating spectacle whose signs are reflected in our movements. We manage to hide genuine emotions behind masks, but each line and silhouette of a painting communicates my personal story and each person's journey. I believe that art plays a significant role in our lives, allowing us to understand ourselves better.
