Leah Lasri

Hi, my name is Leah. I made aliya in 2010 from Montreal, Canada and now live in Jerusalem. 

I create unique modern art incorporating stained glass, crushed glass, acrylics, mirror and sometimes even fragments from the land of Israel. Each piece I create has deep symbolic meaning. Just as our heart has been broken from recent events, I assemble all these broken pieces and create artwork telling a story of resilience and hope deeply rooted in nation's history and faith

I am a self taught artist with a BA in Psychology and Social Work. When I made aliyah, I decided to pursue my real passion: art but still hope one day to pursue an MA in art therapy.
