I grew up in a rural area, in touch with nature.

Currently I live in Haifa – A city in the north of Israel, laid between Mt. Carmel and the Mediterranean Sea. I am surrounded by nature and wildlife and deeply inspired by it. I'm constantly impressed by the creations of nature – the perfect imperfection.

I am a simple person and I love my jewelry simple, a bit rough, not flamboyant.
I learn, experiment and expand my collection all the time.

I work mostly with sterling silver – which allows me to maintain reasonable prices.
I really like natural gemstones, especially raw or rough ones because they add a beautiful and unique dimension to my jewelry. I spend long hours with stone suppliers hand picking the stones I use.

In a fast paced world of mass production, I create jewelry slowly, handmade, using traditional methods.

And why Bare Ant?
Well, it's a wordplay of my last name (Berant), that exactly matches the inspiration and style of my work.
